Fill up on energy at the Flamanville power station! Discover this low-carbon electricity production site in the heart of Normandy.
The EDF Flamanville site brings together two electricity generation units, commissioned in 1985 and 1986, which produce the equivalent of 16% of the Normandy region's electricity consumption, and a third unit in pre-operation: the EPR reactor.
The EDF Flamanville Odysselec area is open to all, and offers a programme of events and tours, free of charge, to give you a behind-the-scenes look at this low-carbon electricity generation method. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of the facilities.
Tour of the Héauville dunes:
Discover the Héauville dunes near the EDF Flamanville power station along a 3 km route.
We invite you to discover the Héauville dunes with a guided tour led by a local guide along a 3km route from 10am to 12pm.
Find out how the dunes were formed, the flora and fauna specific to this environment and the history and uses of man.

Visits to the facilities are reserved for professional, association or school groups and must be booked in advance.
Requests must be made at least 5 weeks before the date of the visit. Reservations are systematically confirmed by e-mail by the EDF visit service.

Espace Odyssélec :
Mid-June to mid-September: Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm
During zone B school holidays: Tuesday to Friday, 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm
Accessibility: Accessible to wheelchair users. Safety: bulky bags (rucksacks, handbags, etc.) and dangerous objects are not permitted.

- Recent digital photo and photocopy of valid ID required at time of booking / ID required on day of visit.
- You must register at least two months before the visit.
- Wear flat, closed-toe shoes and long trousers (shorts and skirts are not permitted).
- You must be in good physical condition and able to walk and stand.
